Protect Durham's Crown from Development

See this content in the original post

The Eno River needs protection from impervious development *again* . Here’s the full story: https://indyweek.com/.../north-durham-residents-want-to.../.

It reminds me a lot of the back-door shenanigans of the 751 South developers, who ultimately got the Republican NC legislature to force Durham to permit their greedy environmental monstrosity on what should still be considered the banks of Jordan Lake: https://indyweek.com/.../brief-tortured-history-751-south/.

Why can’t we just agree to protect our water resources and keep our few remaining pristine places pristine!!??

Please contact the Durham County Commissioners and City Council and ask them not to facilitate this ill-conceived and underhanded development in what should remain a protected area along the Eno River: Commissioners@dconc.gov; council@durhamnc.gov.

Thanks for Caring and Sharing,
